What is a Self-Drive Holiday?

A Self-Drive Holiday allows you to explore destinations independently at your own pace while enjoying the convenience of pre-arranged accommodations, rental vehicle, and a carefully planned route by Riviera Tours and Travel. Enjoy complete flexibility while we take care of the logistics.

Mobility & Accessibility

Rental Vehicle Requirements

At vehicle collection, guests must present:

• Valid documentation for any additional drivers

Rental Vehicle Security Deposit

Rental companies generally require a refundable security deposit ranging from USD 500–750, depending on vehicle type and location. This amount is held against damages, tolls, traffic violations, and incidental charges.

Rental Vehicle Insurance

Rental Car Insurance (Collision Damage Waiver/Loss Damage Waiver) is generally not included unless specifically mentioned under Tour Inclusions.

Insurance may be purchased as an optional add-on at the time of booking.

Child & Infant Seats

Child, infant, and booster seats are not included. Guests are encouraged to bring their own or pre-book them subject to availability.

Hotel Check-In Requirements

Hotels may require:
