Day Wise Itinerary

DAY 1: Dehradun - Haridwar / Rishikesh( 50 Kms - 1.5 Hrs )

Arrive at Dehradun Airport meet assistance, and drive to Haridwar/Rishikesh. 

Explore the Holy Rishikesh and the Holy Ganges on your own. Rishikesh is located on the bank of the Ganges in the lush green mountain forest around the Ganges. Rishikesh is also the Yoga Capital of the World. Here you can walk to a temple and shops and take small boat ride (own expense) on the Holy Ganges.

On arrival check into the hotel. 

Dinner &Overnight stay at Haridwar/Rishikesh.

DAY 2: Haridwar / Rishikesh

If you are staying in Haridwar :

morning if you wish 5:30 am to 6:30 go for Ganga Aarti (check timings with the hotel)

Later return back to the hotel. Take breakfast and free time. Later visit ,PatanjaliYogpeeth, Pawan Dham, Sapt Rishi Ashram and if time permits go for 

Chandi DeviTemple - Chandi Devi Temple was built by Raja Suchet Singh of Kashmir in 1929, and sits on a hilltop just southeast of Haridwar.Many visitors and pilgrims combine this with a cable car to the crowded hilltop temple of Mansa …

Mansa Devi Temple - Take the cable car to this crowded hilltop temple dedicated to a wish-fulfilling goddess. You can walk up (a steep 1.5km), but beware of monkeys. Photography is forbidden in the temple

Evening visit Har-ki- Pauri for Ganga Aarti. 

The opening and closing timings for gangaaarti in Haridwar is from morning 5:30 am to 6:30 am and evening 6 pm to 7 pm. (check timings with the hotel)

Tips For Visiting Ganga Aarti

  1. Be sure to reach the Ghat at least 45 mins before the morning Aarti and 75 minutes before the evening Aarti to grab a seat for yourself and visit the Aarti closely.
  2. Since there is a massive rush at the time of the Aarti, be sure to take care of your belongings and valuables. Do not let children go out of your sight.
  1. Rickshaws and auto-rickshaws to take you to Har Ki Pauri often quote exorbitant prices, and hence you may have to bargain. 
  2. Seats near the clock tower and across the Ganga Temple, on the stairs of the ghats (cross the footbridge) are preferable for a good view

DAY 3: Haridwar / Rishikesh

Freshen up, take breakfast and  visitSwarg Ashram - LaxmanJhula – The LakshmanJhula is a famous hanging bridge across the river Ganga that connects two villages, Tapovan in the TehriGarhwal district and Jonk in the PauriGarhwal district. Located 5 kilometres to the northeast of the town Rishikesh in the 

Indian state of Uttarakhand, the entire bridge is made up of iron, is 450 feet long and is situated at the height of 70 feet from the river. The LakshmanJhula is extremely well 

known amongst tourists because of the rich mythological associations that are connected with the bridge. It is widely believed that Lord Lakshman, the younger brother of Lord Rama, had crossed the river Ganga at this same site, where the bridge now majestically stands for all to see. 

if time permits visit Beatles Ashram - Initially known as Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Ashram, the Beatles Ashram was named so after the Beatles visited the ashram in 1968 to get trained on the advanced techniques of Transcendental Meditation. The ashram is now an eco-friendly tourist attraction located in the Rajaji National Park and offers a serene ambience located close to the mesmerising River Ganga. It is one of the attractions that is sure to take one close to nature. 

Evening go for ParmatAarti at TriveniGhat in Rishikesh.
